06Design concept
The starting point is a narrow space along the west façade where the historic exterior wall and a new box-in-box construction meet directly. “Echo” explores repetition as a spatial and temporal relationship between old and new.
Development
The exercise combines analysis in pairs with an individual intervention. Surveying, photography, moodboard, variants, 1:20 and 1:50 models and model photographs test reversible interventions without losing the historic character of the façade.
