06Design concept
“Sul Tetto” positions the theatre stage as an autonomous volume in relation to the existing yard and hall structures. Foyer, stage, storage, changing rooms and toilets are organised into a compact event architecture.
Development
Site, placement and programme are progressively translated into materialisation, spatial effect and structural system. The final presentation documents the development through to construction details.
Construction and material
A steel frame of HEB sections and square hollow sections supports the insertion. An orange corrugated-metal façade forms the outer skin, metal mesh provides fall protection and timber shapes the interior fit-out.
