Project information
05Design concept
Between concrete, mist and light, a horizontal cut opens through Olevano. A space connects ground, middle and summit - a breathing garden of vegetation and water. The intervention is conceived as an opened body in which the city begins to breathe.
Development
The exercise begins by selecting and analysing a landscape painting at Kunstmuseum Winterthur. Hand drawings record space, form, topography and vegetation; from this, a body-scaled intervention is developed and refined through a landscape plan, section and final presentation board.
