05Design concept
The exercise asks how a simple material and joining principle can become an autonomous seating object. Form, stability and bodily use are treated as one connected design problem.
Development
Sketches investigate proportion, load-bearing behaviour and possible geometries. The built object is then documented in a photographic sequence and tested as a stool.
